12 DEEP Breaths open up deeper possibilities

Yesterday, I wrote about the power of taking 48 deep breaths a day. I have continued to practice, and I am finding that this 2 minutes of deep breathing really does heighten my vibration and recalibrate my focus and perspective.

Today, I am sticking to my goals and plans. I am finding out how much gratitude is found inside the breath. Connecting with this gratitude is like adjusting the sails of my thoughts and feelings. So much more becomes possible for me after I take 12 outstanding and beautiful breaths.

Here is a general flow of thoughts which illustrate what happens when I take 12 deep soul expanding breaths:

Breath ----> Gratitude ----> Love ----> Possibility ----> Shift ----> New actions ----> New results.

If my breath stays shallow, I can never tap into the deeper states of being which allows me to connect with gratitude, open my heart in love, see new possibilities, shift into them, and take new actions.

However, if I give myself the gift of these 12 breaths, then so much opens up inside me. I see how blessed I am, and I can feel the warm waves of gratitude and inspiration that are always flowing to me on the inner currents of the Divine Universe.

But it all has to do with my willingness to breathe deeply.

Breathing shallow and passive is easy.

Taking 12 slow, heaping, massive breaths does take an initial burst of effort and determination.

So try it.

Take 12 breaths now, and notice how your mind wants to stop in the middle. For me, my mind wants to distract itself around breaths 4 through 6. My phone starts calling me. The computer. Facebook. But if I keep going, and once I get to breaths 9, 10, 11 and 12 -- I am feeling more happy and grateful. I have my life in more perspective. I feel more loving and calm.

These 12 breaths totally shifts everything.

So this whole process of developing a deep breathing practice takes effort, diligence, and commitment. But so worth it.

I am feeling more and more inspired, that I may even turn this process into a book.
